'Talking Sense' Annual Conference Health and Wellbeing Awareness Event for people aged 50 and above living in Oldham.
This was an annual event to raise awareness of services and support available for people aged 50 and above living in Oldham. There was a showcase of dance & drama. It also included guest speaker Tricia Stewart ( an original Calendar Girl) gave an inspirational speech! Which focused on her journey since becoming a famous Calendar Girl and insisting that age is just a number.
Most importantly the event allowed people who attended to voice their opinions about the proposed reforms for the way care will be delivered and paid for in future.
The event was a huge success and the organisers would like to thank everyone who came to the event.
